Having spent over half a decade as the General Manager of Sunland Group’s Melbourne operation, which has delivered iconic projects such as Chirnside Gardens and Carre Residences, David Morgan has recently co-founded a new Development and Project Management business with leading residential project marketing firm Red23. The new development and project management business adds to Red23’s portfolio that has managed over 30,000 land and townhouse products through Victoria and Queensland over the last 12 months.
In the newly created Development and Project Management division, David will be overseeing the expansion of Red23’s service offering to Developer Partners. The new service will provide end-to-end development programs and management for land and medium density projects. Functions will include market intelligence, site acquisition, master planning, authority approvals, marketing and sales, construction, finance, and administration.
David says, “While Red23’s development and project management work spans from 1300 lot land subdivisions to luxury townhouse projects, my passion is really helping those most in need with the skills I have obtained. Namely, my focus has been to help community housing providers in their mission to bring more affordable and social housing to marginalised members of our community. Much of this work is ‘pro-bono’ but is no doubt the most valuable and needed contribution I can make to my community. Now, more than ever, the demand for social and affordable housing far exceeds supply. It’s time to make a difference!”
David is also on Griffith University’s Business Advisory Board and is a member of the Top 100 Women in Construction’s Board.
