What do you enjoy the most, working in the field of construction & development?
I enjoy bringing the benefits of digital technology to modern day construction projects. For me, there are four things that make working with digital technology at Resolve Insight special.
First, there is the variety of disciplines and project stakeholders Building Information Modelling (BIM) has the access to reach, such as design teams, construction teams, surveying, planning, project managers, and client interfaces.
Second, seeing how the entire project works and how all teams tie together.
Third, being able to use different methods or workflows to trial and test new systems.
Lastly, interacting with international agencies to try and develop solutions or support the global BIM network in order to gain insight into other projects and activities internationally.
Where do you see your life in the next 5 years, what possibilities are ahead of you?
I am looking forward to watching Resolve Insight grow and deliver the whole of life cycle BIM approach from start to delivery and through to operations, providing effective and efficient operations for clients with the potential for these BIM projects to then tie back into an overall government or private client system.
I am also looking forward to seeing more people and teams understand the BIM process and expectation better, so their learnings can be applied to future projects. As a part of this, I am keen to play a role in facilitating and expanding the awareness of BIM across the national marketplace, developing, delivering, and facilitating BIM solutions for clients.
