Who inspired you to get where you are today?
In my nearly 12 years in this industry, I have drawn inspiration from all the women in my life both privately and professionally.
Professionally, by the women quietly achieving in their field, sidestepping obstacles, pushing boundaries and paving the way to make it easier for future generations of young women who want to pursue careers in a typically male-dominated industry.
Privately, by the mothers I know, who like me, don’t believe that being a mum is all they can contribute, that it forms just part of their identity and that it is okay to want to feel fulfilled by having a successful career as well.
I am continually inspired by how they fight for inclusion and balance every day in their pursuits of further education and career goals using their unique strengths and talents all the while remaining the backbone of support for their young families.
What’s your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment to date whilst not necessarily a singular moment is remaining persistent and driven to create a career I love and ultimately a role that fulfils me while allowing me to set an example for my daughter and be the support she needs.
