With a background in HR in the built environment and a strong lens understanding the challenges that women face in underrepresented industries, I am proud to be a member of Top 100 Women in Construction. I value and embrace the growing community that supports, celebrates and helps nurture career development opportunities for women. I am a passionate advocate for driving change in gender diversity, equity and equality for women of all industries.
Without a doubt I am someone that is driven by improvement – I enjoy working in challenging environments where I get to drive real change. I also have a passion for tech uplifts, automations, implementations and driving capability in organisations. I am currently the Operations Manager for a commercial construction company in Melbourne, which keeps me very busy looking after People & Capability, System Operations and continuous improvement. Outside of my role I am completing tertiary qualifications in Organisational Psychology and Interior Design – a good reflection of where my true passions lie for sure! I am also a mum to three growing humans who are definitely the best parts of my day.
I am currently a member of the Women Building Australia Program 2020 for Master Builders Australia, the National Association of Women in Construction, National Association of Women in Operations, and current ambassador for the Women in Construction 2020 Sydney Build Expo. I have recently been invited to be a guest speaker at the Data Analytics Construction Summit in 2021, which I am really looking forward to.
