What do you enjoy the most, working in the field of Construction & Development?
I enjoy being able to design and realise my designs in the form of new buildings and beautiful interiors. The process is really exciting and it is fantastic when our clients feel the same about our work. I always take our client’s brief as the base point of a project and then excel beyond their expectations. Not only does that provide a good representation and reputation for our work, but it also satisfies me from a personal perspective, meaning quite frankly, that we are the best!
Where do you see life in the next 5 years, what possibilities are ahead of you?
I am growing an international portfolio of projects for my company. We really gained a foothold in East Europe from 2017, we now have ten projects in Georgia, and one in Croatia. I presented as a keynote speaker in Ukraine last year and continue to build relations there.
We are developing a number of projects in the Caribbean, and this year, we are entering Asia and UAE. We will continue building this portfolio over the next 5 years and continue growth in London, UK.
It is very exciting to work internationally because you work with different people, cultures and environments. In particular, we have been able to secure some very big masterplan and luxury residential and hotel projects internationally, there is so much to appreciate in terms of scale of architecture, and it is a great representation for British architects working abroad.
If you could write a letter to a 13-year-old ‘you’ what would you say?
If I wrote to my 13-year-old self, I would simply say, “Wow, you did it, just like you said you would, and now you’re living the dream!”
