Who inspired you to get where you are today?
I am inspired by the People; Humanity and Nature, Globally.
The relationship between the environment and humanity is one of interdependence—each affects the other.
As the first female labourer employed by G James Glass and Aluminium in 1992, I began my career as a solar control window film installer. Learning the significant benefits of improving the built living and working environments and its positive impacts, encouraged me to be at the frontier for Women working in non-traditional roles.
Eleven years ago, as a newly single mum to a two year old, my son Carter was my inspiration to birth my home-grown business venture, House of Stars. Carter is my foundation in maintaining an excitable and abundant lifestyle, fiercely chasing our dreams while sharing our courage at being the change we wish to see in the world.
The allegory of Life teaches us that when we struggle to feed only ourselves, everyone goes hungry. But when we focus on our neighbour’s hunger, we discover there are ways to feed everyone.
This is my Inspiration.
What’s your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest achievement to date is my business ‘The Energy Lady’. It’s a Call to Action. My invitation to the world championing change, evolving more consciousness towards achieving ’Sustainable Living’. Best described as the essential need for collaborating and balancing our Environmental, Economic and Social Impacts – something that everyone wants. My Award Wins and being positioned as a highly credible Judge in the Building and Construction Industry is a true testament to my living a life with passion and purpose.
